Probably the most famous Hong Kong movie in the past ten years, followed by a sequel (Infernal Affairs II and Infernal Affairs III) and starring Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau, Infernal Affairs depicts a usual Hong Kong plot about undercover cops and.. undercover triad members. To which extent can you still consider you’re a cop when you’ve spent most of your life as an undercover in a drug Triad, selling drug and actively participating in the Triad’s business? Symmetrically, can you ever forget you come from the Triads when you’ve succeeded as a cop and gained the confidence of your superiors? Infernal Affairs is very much worth being watched for all those who haven’t yet (available in VCDs and DVDs in all HK movies stores). More details on the plot can be found on Wikipedia.
