Lotus Blue in Beijing

Ho Hai (PMP) is a famous place in Beijing with tons of bars and restaurants around a man-made lake. The place is really nice, especially at night. When walking around I fell upon this bar named after a famous Belgian comic: “The Blue Lotus” (French: Le Lotus Bleu), famous for containing clichés about China (in a nice and friendly way). The comic’s drawer, Hergé, never left his Belgian hometown. So it what quite a surprise to see that his creation had crossed boundaries and ended in China!

The place (in written Chinese: 後海) is “pmp” as “Hau Hai” (in Mandarin) or “Hau Hoi” (in Cantonese)!! I think it is a very nice place! :)
